We definitely do! I mean, seriously, we have everything from snow-capped mountains to gorgeous beaches; not many states can say that. :D

I wondered where they had filmed that. My greatest compliment to the film was that they got the look right. Having grown up in the foot hills of the Appalachian mountains it was a big deal to me. The faces in the beginning of the film were SPOT ON, it was like driving though the rural areas of my home town. So beautiful.

Yes! I was really impressed with all of the District 12 scenery, and of course the arena stuff was gorgeous! The only thing I wish they had done is to have Southern accents for the District 12 peope; surely people in Appalachia would still have those, you know?

Yeah, I was glad that they cast three of the four people from 12 with people who lived in Kentucky. :) *waves a tiny KY flag*
But the accents could have been stronger. I was actually thinking during the film, if it's just so normal to hear a slight accent that I didn't even notice them.

Oh, seriously? I had no idea! Which are from KY? That's so cool! Makes me even happier about the movie. And maybe I didn't notice the accents because I've been watching a lot of The Walking Dead lately, which is set in Georgia, and the accents are way stronger. Hmm. :)

Both Josh & Jennifer are from Northern KY and Woody is from Texas, but was raised in southern Ohio and has a place in KY.
