Dollhouse...aaaaand I think I'm done.

I've pinpointed what skeeves me fundamentally about this show.

When Echo is wiped, she acts a lot like my son, who has autism.

And right now, she's trapped in a room with people who are not being nice to her. :(

Oh, honey! D: *hugs you TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT* God, I hate when shit like that happens. Like the SGA ep, The Shrine. It didn't turn out to be as bad as I feared, because Rodney didn't actually turn out to act much like my mom does, but it was damned close enough. Ow ow ow ow ow. Or when I was blindsided by that Dixie Chicks song about their grandmother. *clings*

*hugs more*

*hugs* I had a feeling I wouldn't like this show when it started - they took "My Own Worse Enemy" to a dark and nasty place.

And Josh doesn't do this to women. . .

Well, I bailed on Dollhouse tonight. I watched The Ruins on HBO which I hadn't seen yet. Based on what you said The Ruins was better.

*hugs tight* I'm sorry, hon. I watched it exactly once and it rubbed me the wrong way, so I won't be watching it again.

Ick, not nice. *hugs tight*

I've only seen the first episode and I'm not sure how I feel. None of the characters catch me and that is usually what makes a show work for me as an ongoing sort of thing.

I have a friend who won't watch it cos of the implication that the 'dolls' are taken and wiped without their consent. It is definitely an iffy show morally.
