I've now seen the Battlestar Galactica miniseries and omg I LOVE IT. And amazingly, there seem to be no skeevy race and gender issues so far. There's an awesomely diverse cast and the women, though they are beautiful, are not just there for the t&a factor. They have purposes! And not just the purpose of window dressing! And the president of the colonies is an over-40 woman with OMG A BRAIN. Anyway, I'm starting in on season 1, but I doubt I have time to make it through all three (?) seasons before the new season starts next month. THANK YOU to those who pimped it to me. :D

I'm watching SGA, too -- hooray for Sci-Fi airing season one during the week! I considered buying season one today -- even had it in my hand -- but talked myself out of it for the time being. I'm really liking this show, too! Also thank you to the people who pimped it to me!

Still working on Torchwood and a couple of the other shows, too. :)

I sincerely recommend Torchwood, even though it boggles me occasionally how a series can sometimes be so interesting and pulled off so well and simultaneously be full of shoddy writing and plot holes.

I'm definitely going to be catching up on Torchwood. I've watched a few eps of that and a few of Doctor Who, but only managed to confuse myself. *g* It does look promising, though, so hopefully watching from the beginning will help with the confusing factor.
