The cleaning lady from our office has gone to Mexico to attend a family member's funeral. I'm aware that this is probably just my own paranoia speaking, but I'm seriously considering staying home for a few days after she returns. It's just...with my health problems, I just do not need to risk swine flu.

I wonder if my doctor might help me out with that...maybe a medical order of some sort? Or at the very least, maybe I could start some anti-virals in anticipation? *ponders*

I'd say talk to your doctor. I mean hell, sweetie, you could use the time off regardless, and you definitely don't need to get sick. I think the odds of her bringing it back with her are slim, but the consequences if you get sick are way worse than if, say, I got sick -- so call your doctor and see what he thinks the best course of action is. And then if he says you don't need to stay home, call in sick anyway. :)

I think the medical order is probably a better idea - why pump yourself full of drugs if you don't have to, right? *snugs* I can completely understand not wanting to be around when she comes back, though.
