Crazy cubicle guy video was a fake.

It's part of a viral marketing campaign for a Russian movie called "Wanted."

I totally called it. :D

I thought it was fake myself due to the lack of any news coverage of an arrest, injuries, etc...but it looked cool nonetheless...

Looked like it was fun to film. Except maybe for the woman who ended up with a computer monitor to the face. Ouch.

Do they mean the James McAvoy flick that's coming out this month? If so, I would like their crazy to not be attributed to promoting Mr Tumnus, as he rules.

Ya that is the flick. The Russian guy is the Director.

Well, then, I think he's even more of a douche than I previously did. Good thing I'm going to go see it with a friend of mine, who can get us in for free (cuz of his job), so I won't be paying the guy.

Wow, yeah, that seems to be an odd kind of viral marketing.

Well ... it makes some sort of sense, in a weird sort of way. James McAvoy's character is supposed to be an "every man," who happens to be a cubicle warrior. Lemme see if I can find a trailer for you ... [clicky]

BUT IT WAS A BRILLIANT FAKE.
