Impala model with season 3 DVD sets?

SPN-SE3-DVD-0002

SPN-SE3-DVD-0003

If this is what it looks like and WB is actually going to include a model Impala with season 3 DVD sets, I have three thoughts. 1) It's an awesome idea from a promotional standpoint, 2) I WANT ONE and 3)...but that's not THE Impala. :( It'd be a whole lot more exciting to me if it was a 4-door. And, you know, had actual side mirrors. O_o

In general, though, I'm leaning towards numbers 1 and 2. :)

SWEET! I hope the copy I pre-ordered from Amazon comes with that.

I was wondering about that, too! I wanna know what I've gotta do to get that baby. :D

By the way, you know from a web-content/SEO perspective, it's not a good idea to fully duplicate content across websites. It'd be smarter, IMO, if you put a little blurb to the full post on blogspot, then link here for the rest. Or just put a link entirely. That way you won't get into any trouble with search engines and the like.

*is confused* What kind of trouble would I get into with search engines?

[identity profile] brianrubin.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
If two sites have the exact same content, the search engines tend to ignore one and focus on the other. This means it might ignore your blogspot blog and only list this one, or vice versa. It's generally bad practice in SEO. If one site gets ignored, why even have two with the same content? ;)

[identity profile] fangirlsays.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. I did not know this! So, what's the best way to go about increasing readership on my blogspot?

[identity profile] brianrubin.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
The best way is to have original content (i.e. write about something different there than you do here) and be persistent in writing it. Link to that blog from here as well, and vice versa. Seriously, why would folks go there if the exact same content is here? ;)

[identity profile] fangirlsays.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh, good point. *g* I'm just so used to writing everything here. *is creature of habit omg*

[identity profile] brianrubin.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, but maybe you can separate stuff. Like write about fandom stuff here and personal/health stuff over there, for example. Then cross post a little bit back and forth to keep people going to both.

Hmm. I shall have to ponder on this some more. Thanks for all the info, hon! *hugs*

Oooohh.....

Yeah, the four door model with side mirrors(and spotlights!) would be preferable, but still....*grabby hands*

*grabby hands also omg*

WANT!

You be online tonight maybe?

[identity profile] fangirlsays.livejournal.com 2008-06-19 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Hopefully so, yis. *squishes*

[identity profile] erinrua.livejournal.com 2008-06-20 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Um ... bzee?

I WANT! Yes, we must conspire to learn how we can get one!

Though yeah, it appears the die-cast modeling world has utterly IGNORED the 4-door version. I have searched high and low, and nobody makes one. *sighh* I guess certain circles think only the 2-door SS is the cool one, huh?

*blows raspberry* Little do they know! ;-)

Sweet! Toy!!!

[identity profile] muses-circle.livejournal.com 2008-06-20 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Unfortunately, I don't think die cast car makers produce the '67 four door Impala. My husband and I have been searching for over a year for one. (Hubby collects these cars, so he knows the ins and outs around the Internet to look for them.)

However, that said, I really want! Must have! I wonder if this is going to be a general release or in specific places, like Target and Wal-Mart?

[identity profile] fangirlsays.livejournal.com 2008-06-20 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
I know, I wanna know how to get this now!

[identity profile] lila-blue-b.livejournal.com 2008-06-20 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
Aw, man! I hadn't noticed that about the doors and mirrors before... I feel cheated... I want mini-"Dean's Baby"... Even so, I'd be lying if I didn't say *grabby hands*!

[identity profile] fangirlsays.livejournal.com 2008-06-20 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Hee! *grabby hands* seems to be the general concensus. :D
