Last BSG tonight

One of the things I'll miss the most about BSG are the two people in my icon. There are lots of reasons I love them, not the least of which is that they're an accurate representation of people who are over 40. Who are strong, vibrant, beautiful. Who have sex! I think a large part of Supernatural fandom (for example) would be shocked (and no doubt, repulsed) to learn that 40+ people do actually have sex -- maybe even more sex than the teenagers and twenty-somethings who think Ellen is clearly too old to be paired with Sam or Dean. I'm going to miss taking part in a fandom that gets that.
