New study claims that almost double the number of children could have autism as previously thought

An unpublished piece of research by Cambridge University's AutismResearch Centre (ARC) found that as many as one in 58 children could suffer from the condition, which can affect speech, understanding and communication.

ETA regarding "Cloverfield" At ComicCon: Via [profile] mokeyhokey:"One of the members of the SA Forums has a cousin working on the promotional team for the film. He obviously can't say much, but he did say that people should keep their eyes open at Comic-Con: 'Let me give you a hint: the people behind the marketing for this movie assume thatif you see something lying unattended at comic-con, you will assumeit's okay to steal.' "
