Though it's not official yet, rumors are swirling that Jericho is again cancelled.

It's a shame, but not much of a surprise. The ratings have been steadily deteriorating, and the last two episodes only managed to pull about 5.5 million viewers -- that sounds huge for those of us accustomed to following Supernatural's ratings, but it's abysmal by CBS standards.

CBS said two endings were filmed for the shortened second season -- a cliffhanger to be shown if a third season was approved, and one designed to give fans some closure for the show if it wasn't picked up. Looks like they'll be airing the second option.

Blah, sorry to see that. I was just gonna start getting into it, too. I feel bad for the fans who worked their ass off to keep the show on...

Sorry that one of your fandoms is dying. I feel your pain. ::cough::firfly&journeyman::cough:: Though, I won't be sorry to see all of those "Jericho" fans who thought they were the sh*t for getting CBS to bring it back.

Not to me in particular, but the sooner I don't have to hear anymore about the big campaign to save the show, the better. "Jericho" seems to've become the rally cry for any show that's in danger of cancellation.

Yeah, I'm actually sick of hearing about the nuts campaign myself, heh.

Doesn't it make you want to sit people down and explain that the saving of "Jericho" and "Roswell" were just flukes, and that's not always what you want to do? I'm not too sure if it's still going on, but not long after "Journeyman" was canceled, there was this big thing about sending NBC boxes of Rice-A-Roni (cuz the show is based in San Francisco), cuz it worked for "Jericho", so it must be how you get things done.

Yup. And now every fandom ever will send crap to the networks when their show is cancelled. I'm really, really glad SPN fandom didn't get into that. There was talk of sending rock salt, but it was never a major campaign that I know of.
