No, I have no idea why it's suddenly Talk Like a Pirate Day in my head.

BUT Y'ALL.

MERLE! MERLEMERLEMERLEMERLE OMG MERLE!

Okay, so this season, I want (in no particular order):

1) Merle/Daryl reunion, sweetly angsty brotherly love quickly covered up by manly posturing and/or dick measuring and possibly mental and/or physical torment visited on the brother who left your one-armed self to die in zombie-infested Atlanta.
2) This probably goes without saying, but I'ma say it anyway: Daryl/Carol.
3) Merle being all jealous of the Daryl/Carol, followed by him falling for Carol and being all unexpectedly sweet and bumbling for about 15 seconds, quickly covered up by being the nasty, mean-spirited asshole we all know he really is, and vowing he never wanted Carol in the first place *flounce!*
4) Rick continuing to be kind of a jerk, and the internal struggle against his inner hero against his outer Ricktator.
5) Shane. *wails*
6) Lori not being annoying for half a minute.
7) Carl actually being in the house. (Wait.)
8) T-Dog getting more than one line per episode.
9) Glen/Maggie being their adorable selves.
10) MICHONNNNNNNNNNNE!

They seriously have to expand T-Dog as a character this season. Maybe that will be a little easier with the number of characters whittled down a bit (although I suppose they'll be bringing in new characters too, so who knows?!)

I really love that picture of Merle - I kinda want to animate an icon with Merle's "shh" and Daryl's "shhh" alternating. Hmm....
