(no subject)

I've cleaned the kitchen counters and rearranged them to make room for baking. I've cleaned the oven inside and out. I cleaned the refrigerator. Did a couple of incidental loads of laundry. Next up -- sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor. Then the baking can begin!

Whatever I had last Thursday, I have again. I'm fevery, achey, moany and several other unwell elves. But the preparations will continue! Gonna try to get at least two of the cookies baked today. Either gingerbread men, sugar cookies or poinsettia cookies. And rice crispie treats. Then to firm up the menu and grocery list.

Tomorrow morning, I'm finishing up some last-minute shopping and wrapping. Monday will be baking the pies (punkin and key lime, num) and putting together as many of the casseroles and appetizers as possible for storage in the fridge until Christmas Day.
