Creation's just announced another Salute to Supernatural con. This one is in LA March 29 to 30; gold tickets are on sale for $439 (*choke*).

What devious timing! Right when people(those who file early-ish, anyway) will be getting their tax return checks. Mine will be going towards other things, though. I'll be happy with online reports.

Nice of them to line up both Jensen and Jared right off the bat, though. I know some people debated about the Chicago con until the last minute because Jensen wasn't added until the last minute.

Yeah, I surely won't be going. It'll be fun to read everyone's posts, though. :)

*choke* is right! Still we'll all be jealous of the lucky ducks who do get to go. Which will not include me, sadly.

Won't inlude me, either. I'd like to see the boys, but I don't have that kind of cash. And seriously, I don't think I'd spend that much even if I did have it. At least, that's what I'm telling myself. *g*

ACK!

Oh .... damn. I've *got* to find a way to swing this, I've just got to. This would be a one-in-a-lifetime for me. I've only ever been to one other con in my life, which was the One Ring Celebration in Pasedena in 2006. This ... ARGHH! I gotta find a way.

But first I need room mates. I wonder if I know anybody in the SPN fandom who lives on the west coast and might go. :-s LA is a 7-hour drive for me, and I've a friend in Bakersfield with whom I could stay the first night, then check in the next day. But no way could I afford a hotel single-handedly.

If I can even scrounge up cash for any sort of tickets ...

Damn, that is outrageous pricing! I wonder if they'll lower prices or anything. Or maybe I could just settle for a lesser ticket ... GAH! I WANNA GO! *throws self on floor and pitches a hissy fit*

BTW, thanks ever so for the heads-up! *smish*

Ohh, I get it. The Gold tickets include autographs, dessert party, and the brunch/charity breakfast. In the past, (at least for the ORC cons) the charity brunch thingie was always separate. So. Guess that's the extra hundred bucks right there, methinks.

Still. Damn. SHOOT! I gotta find a way, I just gotta. And a roomie ... bleh.

Thanks again!
Cheers ~

I... seriously cannot even fathom spending that much money to meet celebrities.

I can't fathom /having/ that kind of money to spend on meeting celebrities. I'm just like 'yeah, the ticket alone would pay for two car payments; add in airfare and hotel and it'd pay for a mortgage payment'. So, yeah, not for me.

Hope you're feeling better, btw!
