I predict he'll actually go to hell, though for how long is the question, as well as whether he'll remember any of it when he comes back. I really hope he will; it'll feel like such a cheat if he's back and not the slightest traumatized by it. It'd be like if after everything in Mystery Spot, Sam didn't remember those six months without Dean.
