fangirl_saysFirst there were the internet rumors that Palin's infant son was actually born to her oldest, 17-year-old daughter Bristol. Then came the revelation that Bristol is five months pregnant. Now we hear that Palin's husband had a DWI.
Any more skeletons in Palin's closet?
I kinda feel bad for her family. I mean, it's hard enough to be a pregnant teenager without being shoved front and center for all the world to judge. And Mr. Palin's DWI conviction was 24 years ago. And obviously, everyone makes mistakes.
On the other hand, I'm remembering the Rupublican feeding frenzies that happened during Clinton's Lewinski situation, and more recently when John Edwards admitted having an affair, and a lot of my sympathy is kinda dissipating.
One nice thing is seeing that Obama's taking the high road, and declaring kids off-limits for his campaign and supporters. As opposed to back during the Clinton administration, when John McCain told a Republican gathering the following joke: "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Janet Reno is her father."
