Yeah, my company outsources our IT work to some local guys and they recommend AVG. They even suggested it for my home system. It worked for me better than Norton!

Yeah, I found that it doesn't suck as many resources, is more reliable and a heck of a lot more user friendly.

*points up* Everything they said. AVG's the best free anti-virus software out there, and it won't eat your computer's memory alive. It's all we use at home.

i use avast - avast.com (use the avast! 4 Home Edition FREE version)

you have to register it, but it's no biggie.

i also use AdAware and Spybot
