I would have to go with #2. But honestly? NEVER piss off the writers. I believe Michael Weatherly learned that lesson during season 2 of "Dark Angel" when all the good stuff went to Jensen Ackles. *heee*

I find it pretty damm nervy that she is taking herself out of the emmy nomination when she doesn't even know if she is being considered for a nomination! If she had such crap writing this year then most likely she wasn't going to be nominated ( I'd like to at least look at it that way)

Overall, she must have been feeling pretty suicidal that day because if I were one of the writers she'd get very little from . Cleaning bedpans or doing enemas sounds like a good thing for Izzy. Definitely career suicide to get too big for your britches!

I don't watch GA, but just about everyone I know who does HATES the direction her character has been taken the last few seasons, in fairness to her. After the Knocked Up thing, though, it does make you wonder why she's taking/sticking with these projects if she hates them so much, though.

I'm thinking right now in LA and environs there are at least two dozen blonde, utterly indistinguished/indistinguishable Mormon girls with dreams of breaking big who are thinking "b*tch, please." And chances are good that if there are two dozen, any one of them could be substituted in as "new Izzy" and the quality of the character would only improve.
