That happens to me ALL THE TIME. Also? People who defriended me on LJ often choose to follow me on Twitter! Who knows! It's all good, though...I'm boring everywhere. ;)

The thing that gets me about some of the people who've friended me is that they have thousands of people they're following already! And judging from the @replies, they're actually reading everyone's twits. HOW DO THEY DO THIS. I have less than 100 people I'm following atm, and I still feel like I can't keep up.

That's happened to me too! And just strange people hocking like get rich schemes. I went through blocking them, then gave up and just went private.

Wow. The day I came back to Michigan from Illinois a traffic reporter from Chicago's TV channel WGN friended me on Twitter. I didn't realize until just now that at some point between then & now (probably when she realized that I was staying in Michigan for a while) that she unfriended me.

I'm new over there and seem to stay under most radars, but I get the random friendings, too. I tend to block them, if I see that we either have nothing in common, or they're trying to sell something. :-s

Oddest one yet was Floyd Landis (the cyclist).

I usually take a look at their tweets and the "bio" and if they have any of the same interests or look like they might be the slightest bit interesting, I go ahead and follow back.
