Standard Poodle puppy!



Kayla is a Standard Poodle whose breeder gave her to Carolina Poodle Rescue because she thought Kayla couldn't have any more puppies. Turned out Kayla actually was pregnant and gave birth shortly after arriving at Dreamweaver Farms. They're gorgeous pups! (Mom will be spayed once the puppies are weaned, btw, and puppies are adopted on a spay/neuter contract.)

Just have to say, breeder didn't reconize a pregnant bitch?? That sounds weird..
Glad rescue got her and not a kill shelter.. My friend brreds standards in NY,she also fosters rescues..

Yeah, I know. I'm sure the folks at the farm were like "O RLY?", but I'm just glad the mama's soon going to be ready for her own home where SHE can be the baby. :D

Thank goodness Kayla came to good people. Her breeder is an idiot if she couldn't tell the poor thing was preggers. Not like there are no signs, and if nothing else - hello? Breeder? Have you ever heard of an ultrasound? Yeesh.

So, yeah. Glad she's in good hands, and thank goodness she'll be spayed so no more idiots can make worse mistakes. Bless her cute furry little heart. :_)
