Ofcom Rules That ITV Breached Broadcast Code

( Ofcom has found ITV's Montel Williams Show and trailers for Supernatural to be in breach of its broadcasting code. )
Emphasis mine. Interesting, because I understood British broadcasting standards to be less-stringent than US ones. Is that not the case?

Kripke drops casting bombshell
Jun. 23rd, 2008 04:01 pmI'm of two minds about the following information: 1) it contains spoilers regarding the casting of a significant character and therefore should be lj-cut, and 2) this is so major that no one is going to be able to avoid finding out about it.
