I don't see the problem with using the name you want without the _. The only other interpretation of that I can think of is "fangirls ays," and that kinda works, too, in a Celtic-esque way.
Now beat me soundly for missing your birthday. Even though the idiots now send me TWO reminders for each of your names, they send them too damn early, and with this being the only working computer in the house ATM (not to mention the fairly perpetual projector for Who episodes), I plead stupidity.

Huh, I see what you mean about the "fangirls ays" interpretation, and that's actually not bad. I think I'm definitely leaning towards "fangirlsays". Still sorta bummed my first choice isn't available. Who knew that LJ feed names were counted as usernames? Certainly not me.
